                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF MARKET STREET ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER
                   3, 1993, FROM 12:00 NOON TO 6:00 P.M. FOR
                   THE "GOVERNOR'S VIETNAM VETERANS RECOGNITION
                   DAY/BROTHERHOOD RALLY," UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Market Street from M. L. King Boulevard to
       10th Street on Sunday, October 3, 1993, from 12:00 noon to 6:00
       p.m. for the "Governor's Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day/
       Brotherhood Rally sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America,
       Inc.  The sponsors are responsible for the installation and
       removal of all traffic control devices (such as barricades, signs 

       and cones) in accordance with the traffic control plan attached
       hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for
       emergency vehicles.
